Procedure

Phase A – In main vessel, add phase A and begin propeller mixing. Dissolve all ingredients until a uniform solution is formed. Heat to at least 70-75° C. Phase B – In a separate vessel, weigh out phase B and begin heating and mixing to 75-80°C. No particulate should be present. When completely dissolved, add phase B to phase A and mix thoroughly at 500-600 rpm. Remove from heat. Phase C – Add phase C to phase AB and mix thoroughly to keep solution miscible. Begin cooling to 40°C. Phase D – When phase ABC is at desired temperature, add phase D and mix until uniform decreasing speed as needed. Transfer at 30°C.
